AP The Prince - Nite and Day feat. Pro'Verb

AP and Pro'Verb give y'all their thoughts on the local Hip Hop scene and the lack of support from media outlets and listeners. They hit the nail on the nose because there's mad talented artists in DC who, without the help of a few DJs, get no love from the hip hop stations. Wale's "Chillin'" got more spins in three hours on Hot 99.5 (the local Top 40 station) than it does on WKYS 93.9 or WPGC 95.5 in a whole day. Shame...

This reinforces my review, Pro's much better in tandem, right now. Perhaps another person balances him out.

What is DC's stamp/brand on hip hop? What do the artists here want it to look like? Where is it going? Are the artists themselves united?

I'm going to go live with those questions as a blog post. Hopefully I can get a lot of feedback from artists, producers, media and listeners alike.
