I really encourage everyone to support this event for a few reasons:
1. Lupus is real and the life of one of my closest homie's has been altered considerably due to this disease.
2. James Yancey, better known as J Dilla, has produced many songs throughout the years that you know and love. Ms. Yancey, Dilla's mother, will also be in the house that evening, too.
3. There's a whole roster of local talent that's gonna be at this event that y'all need to check out
4. A portion of all donations will go towards the Maureen Yancey Fund and the Lupus Foundation of the Greater Washington Area.
