Special Edition of R&B Live DC
Washington, DC’s Unsigned Talent to Perform

Washington, DC (Feb. 12, 2009) - R&B Live DC is continuing to start the new year off with a bang. On Tuesday, February 17th R&B Live DC proudly welcomes special guest Kyonte to Posh Restaurant & Supper Lounge. Kyonte is a talented singer, songwriter and producer. In 2007 he co-produced the Grammy nominated song “Woman” by Raheem DeVaughn. Other artists he has worked with are hip-hop’s own Foxy Brown and Gospel music artist own Brent Jones. He is currently working on his debut album.

R&B Live DC is pleased to announce that R&B Live DC producer and event coordinator Carla Truitt will host this month’s event as DJ Huck Fin spins. The opening act will be Washington, DC’s own Black Alley and as an ode to Black History month, we will have some poetry read by John A. Johnson and Nicole Lyricc. Black Alley hails from Washington DC and has created their own sound as they call it to be “Soul Garage”. The band consists of four members and they have opened up for Raheem DeVaughn & Ledisi.

Posh Restaurant & Supper Club is located at 730 11th St NW, Washington, DC 20001. The doors open at 8pm. For table reservations, please call 202.393.0975 or visit www.poshdc.com.
